Block Print Bedsheets, Hand Block Printed in Jaipur

Each bedsheet in this collection begins with a hand-carved wooden block and a single artisan in our Jaipur workshop. The block is dipped in dye and pressed onto 100% cotton by hand, then left to dry under the Rajasthan sun, the same process whether the print is a Bagru floral or a Dabu mud-resist motif. No two prints turn out quite the same, which is part of what makes a hand block print bedsheet feel personal rather than mass produced.

We work in true Indian bed sizes, double and king, so you can match a sheet to your mattress rather than guess. The cotton is soft against the skin, breathable through summer, and holds its colour through repeated washes.

  • Pure cotton: breathable, soft and natural, with no chemical finishes.
  • A weave built to last: thoughtfully chosen fabric rather than a thread count chased for marketing. Something between 300 and 800 TC is plenty for a sheet that wears well.

Are these bedsheets really handmade?

Yes, each sheet is block printed by hand by an artisan in our Jaipur workshop, using a hand-carved wooden block rather than a printing machine.

Should I choose a double or a king size?

Measure your mattress first. Our double sheets generally fit mattresses up to around 90 x 108 inches, and king sheets are wider and longer. Exact measurements are listed on each product page.

Do the natural dyes fade after washing?

Some softening of colour is natural with hand block printing and natural dyes, the same way a well loved garment changes with age. A gentle wash in cold water will help the print hold its colour for longer.

How should I wash these bedsheets?

Wash in cold water with a mild detergent and dry in the shade. Avoid bleach and harsh detergents, which can affect both the fabric and the print.
